Were You Left Behind?
The Disappearance
There are many people who will read this now, before the rapture, or catching away of the dead in Christ and the church take place. To you I say, take advantage of this warning. Learn the truth about God, the REAL God and Father, Creator, and accept Jesus, His Son, as your personal Savior and Lord before it’s too late. Use this link to help you understand what must be done for you to be saved, born-again, and able to meet Jesus in the air with the rest of us when the "catching away" happens. For the rest of you reading this, it's already too late to come, but read on.
Are you walking around in a daze wondering where everyone is? Were you sitting at lunch with a friend, and suddenly he or she disappeared before your eyes? Have you found your home empty, your spouse and/or children missing? Are people running around screaming for their loved ones? Are there empty cars and trucks all over the place? Are planes crashing? Are fires burning out of control?
I want you to know that if the above scenarios are happening to you right now, it's not what the government wants you to believe happened. It's not what the scientists are saying either. It's the truth of God's Word come to life. This is your final opportunity to escape the horrors of eternal separation from God, which is the Lake of Fire, also called hell. Now is the time to fall on your face, repent of your unbelief and your sin and beg God to save you by the shed Blood of Jesus the Christ, His Holy Son. It's too late for you to participate in the rapture, but it's not too late for you to ask God to save your soul.
Maybe you remember your mom telling you this would happen. You probably thought she was a bit eccentric. How could millions, dare I say billions, of people all disappear at the same time? Could that book called the Bible that your mother reads every day be right?
YES!!!
The Scriptures are full of prophecies about Jesus' birth, death, resurrection, the catching away of the church, and about Jesus' second coming to earth. Jesus was already born through a virgin, so that prophecy was filled. He already suffered and died to set man free, another one done. He was resurrected by God and now sits at His right hand in heaven; yet another fulfillment. What you are experiencing as you read this is the next prophecy to be fulfilled, the catching away, otherwise known as the Rapture.
Some Bible critics reject the idea of the rapture as the word "rapture" is not in the Bible. (The Greek word for rapture is "harpazo" for catching away. In Latin, the word is rapturo. It all means the same thing: Caught up .) But the concept surely is. If you will, please read with me in I Thessalonians 4:15-17,"For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep (the dead). For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words."
And let's read I Corinthians 15:50-54, "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery (a hidden truth); We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory."
Please understand that the "all" is not every living being. Paul was talking with believers who had previously been born again. The "all" meant the Christ followers, or Christians.
We also see this message in Philippians 3:20, 21, "For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself."
Why did God pull the dead in Christ and all believers who accepted Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord out of the world? It's so His righteousness and vengeance can be done. God waited for centuries before He called the church home. (The church is also known as the "bride of Christ.") Why did God wait so long? Scripture speaks of this clearly. Let's read that now in II Peter 2:8, 9, " But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
The "all" refereed to here is every living human." God held back His hand of vegeance to give everyone opportunity to accept Jesus as Savior for the redemption of our souls. God doesn't want even one of His people creation to "perish." To perish means to die. But in this case, the meaning of perish goes far deeper. What the Holy Spirit was telling us through Peter was that God doesn't want us to die without salvation because, if we do, we will be eternally separated from God. It will not only be that the body dies, but that the spirit will never connect with God again. The spirit and soul of those who reject Jesus will live in hell eternally. Hell is complete, utter desolation; and it's the worst part of being in hell is never seeing Jesus.
Bless the Lord, not one born-again spirit/soul will be left behind, not in the grave and not alive. We will all be called up to meet Jesus in the air. If you are in here reading this after the Rapture has already taken place, it doesn't mean you are doomed to hell. Take the opportunity God is giving you now and pray to be saved.
Let's be clear on one point. This is the Rapture of the saints. This is not the second coming of the Lord Jesus. That prophecy won't be fulfilled until after the Tribulation.
At this point, the Tribulation has probably begun. It will be divided into two segments. During the first 3 1/2 year period of the Tribulation things will surely become difficult as the seal judgments begin and move into the trumpet judgments. The second 3 1/2 year period will be known as the Great Tribulation. This is when things will become increasingly more difficult as each of the seven bowls, or vials, of God's wrath are poured out on the world. The Jews will suffer more during the last 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation then at any other time in history. For the first three years, anti-Christ will make nice with Israel as a way to keep them under his control. But after the anti-Christ is killed and resurrected in a mock representation of Jesus' death and resurrection, this hate-filled anti-Christ who, till this point has been ruled by satan, will now be possessed by him. satan hates all Israelites and wants them dead. Mark my words, the time will come when it will be legal to kill a Jew on sight just for being a Jew.
There will come a time when anti-Christ will demand that all people on earth bear the mark of the beast on their right hand or forehead in order to buy and sell. They will also need this mark in order to work. Be warned: Anyone taking that mark is doomed to hell. There is no recanting of the mark if it was taken willingly by anyone. Choose wisely this time. If you had made the correct choice in the first place, you would not be reading this and faced with this dilemma. Come! Be born again!
